Romans 2 and the Possibility of Justification apart from Christ

I posted a quote on my blog yesterday featuring a wonderful statement by Calvin on our need for Jesus Christ. This morning I received an excellent question about some of the statements in Romans 2 which seem to point to the possibility of the salvation of Gentiles apart from Jesus Christ. I blog about this here, but I wanted to post a link to an excellent article by Douglas Moo which addresses these questions and explains the logic of Paul in Romans 2 (and 3). Here is the article.
