A Nice Quote from Harvey Newcomb

If it is dangerous to keep company with people of bad character or bad principles, it is much more so to keep company with bad books.

That's a great quote. Harvey Newcomb is a great author. One of my favorite books is Newcomb's A Practical Directory for Young Christian Females, where he gives practical advices for young ladies in cultivating intellectual, social, moral, and religious maturity. It's available to be read for free online here (or here under the title Young Lady's Guide) in case anyone is interested.
