A Very Good Deal

CBD is selling the Hendriksen/Kistemaker NT commentary set for a hundred dollars. This is worth thinking about.

Excellent! I was introduced to Hendriksen's commentaries back in the 70's by my pastor friend who also introduced me to the Doctrines of Grace. I used his Hendriksen's commentaries a lot . He invited me to use his vast library. Through his library and his mentoring I think I learned more with him than I learned in seminary!

I have a few of Hendriksen's commentaries but it would be nice to have the whole set with dustcovers. I think I might be pulling the trigger on this one soon.

Thanks for the heads up, Ruben!

If you get them, keep your eyes open for Hendriksen talking about his tangeloe tree, after admitting that it has nothing whatever to do with anything. He just liked the story so well he couldn't help it!

Bought it. I just couldn't pass that deal up. I have the set on CD and it's a treasure trove.

Bought too! Now I may be using P-pay to sell the single copies I have.

I've got a birthday coming up and this sounds like a perfect birthday gift.

I like about Hendriksen that he doesn't assume you have the whole set: he will repeat himself on Mark and on Matthew if they have something identical.
