    The Teaching Company

Does anyone else listen to lectures by the Teaching Company? I really like them. I would be curious about what others have listened to and how they would rank them. Here are mine (ranked on scale of 1-10, with 10 being the best):

    [1] History of Ancient Rome - 10
    [2] Rome and the Barbarians - 10
[3] Alexander the Great and the Hellenistic Age - 6
    [4] The Early Middle Ages - 10
[6] Europe and the Wars of Religion - 5
[7] Lost Christianities: Christian Scriptures and the Battles over Authentication - 2

Well, it looks like I'll have to get those lectures on Rome.

I've listened to several of their teachings, one I remember specifically was the series on Economics. It was very good. I'd highly recommend it.

I have their lecture on Physics, which also has my high recommendation. I've listened to a few others (I was borrowing them from a roommate who had almost all of them), but as it was so long ago I can't remember any specifics.

I got their introductory tape on "How to listen to classical music." It was awesome!

Cool. I get them free through interlibrary loans from my public library. I will keep the physics one in mind. There are a number of other cool science and math related ones that I plan to listen to at some point in the future. The classical music one sounds good too.
