During my vacation i bought George Marsden -Reforming Fundamentalism

Im starting chapter 4 it is a very interesting book on the history of Fuller Seminary it is easy to read and helps put these pastors, scholars and others all in their proper place in the 40's within fundamenatlism.
This book came out back in 1987 i was 16 yrs old.

Just curious was there any negative reaction to this book after it was published?
