| | | Possibly, The Messiah in the Psalms by Richard Belcher. It has been profitable for some insights I have used in my preaching.

Treasury is a 3 volume set. If it has to be ONE book, I'd have to say William S. Plumber, Studies in the Book of Psalms, 1867.

A while back I saw someone was trying to sell on ebay a first edition for like $1,000.

It always begins by skulking, and assuming a disguise. Its advocates, when together, boast of great improvements, and congratulate one another on having gone greatly beyond the old dead orthodoxy, and on having left behind many of its antiquated errors: but when taxed with deviations from the received faith, they complain of the unreasonableness of their accusers, as they differ from it only in words. This has been the standing course of errorists ever since the apostolic age. Samuel Miller, Introductory essay, The Articles of the Synod of Dort (1841).

I got mine at a second hand book store for something like $35.00. It's in sad shape though, I don't like to handle it much anymore. It doesn't have a front cover, and a few of the pages are unreadable..but I really like it.
Don't know about a Banner Edition. |

Also How to Read the Psalms by Tremper Longman.
For a good devotional work try David Dickson's Commentary and FWIW just have a gander at my blog
