Jay's [i]Morning Exercises[/i]

CVBBS has two editions of Jay's Morning Exercises

The Sprinkle edition is 653 pages.

The Calvary Press edition is 330 pages --and a lot cheaper.

Both have 365 readings and are hardback. Does anyone know if the Calvary Press edition is abridged or just retypeset?

I have the Sprinkle. It's a true hardback; and I'd guess that the other is more of a case-bound "hardback".

I'd have to GUESS that the CP edition is abridged. Honestly, unless they micro-printed, or the pages are double the size of a regular book.

The Sprinkle is easy on the eyes, and the average length of the reading is a page and a half. The page size is 4.25x6.5 (half a standard letter), with 1/2 inch margins, 16 characters per inch, 47 lines per page (plus a header).

And the Sprinkle version is GORGEOUSLY done, with a bookmark and a very nice binding. I'm loving my copies of both Morning and Evening Exercises (though that probably has more to do with Jay's exceptional exposition than the way the Sprinkle version tickles my bibliophile sensors)
