Anyone read : Jonathan Edwards - The End for Which God Created the World ?

Thoughts ?

Does anyone knows why are these yale editions so expensive, it's almost $80 - $100,00 ????

I think you can download and read it online. I have a copy I cut and pasted into Word I beleive.


And yes, it was earth shaking for me as I read it.

Hello Mayflower,

I have read this. What impressed me the most was the organization of his thought and the layout of the argument. This is the work that has so heavily influenced John Piper. I used Piper's edition, and found it helpful. It is not an easy read.

I enjoyed it too. Piper's edition is called God's Passion for His Glory.
