| | | Intro reading for Reformed theology
I'm new to the Calvinist camp and I really want to start reading about reformed theology. I just ordered "Institutes of the Christain Religion" and I was wondering if anyone had some suggestions on what I should read?

Brady, there's a plethora of things. I think a good simple book is one by Dr. James White called, The Potter's Freedom. Many others suggest R.C. Sproul's Chosen By God as a good place to start as well.

The sovereignty of God by Pink and L. Boettner's book entitled The Doctrine of Predestination.
Both can be had online.
@@ I agree with Josh; I would choose Sproul.

I think "Knowing God" by J. I. Packer is a good start too.

Welcome to the board Brady.
I have to say I am very impressed when I see someone who is still in H.S. that is entering into Reformed thinking, etc. Between the wickedness I was engaged in at that time and the desert of faulty teaching since then...Man! You need to praise God for His grace towards you.

Welcome, Brady!
Calvin's Institutes is a wonderful place to learn about the Reformed Faith. He is deep but very readable.
I also encourage you to acquire -- if you have not already done so -- a copy of the Westminster Standards, as well as G.I. Williamson's Study Guide to the Westminster Confession.
Additionally, you might consider these helpful links for further reading:

Happy reading!
