Has anyone read The History and Antiquities of Dissenting Churches and Meeting Houses in London, Westminster, and Southwark : including the lives of their ministers, from the rise of nonconformity to the present time : with an appendix on the origin, progress, and present state of Christianity in Britain, 4 vol., 1808, by Walter Wilson? Thoughts?

Wilson's work on the dissenters of London has a richness and charm to it that makes it inspiring as well as informing. It is loaded with bits of information about dissenting ministers and churches in an around London that would be difficult to find from any other source. I have wanted to have a personal set for years but have been unable to obtain it. This reprint from The Baptist Standard Bearer should be gobbled up quickly by all those interested in the principles and personalities of English dissent." ~THOMAS J.
