Francis Turretin : Disputationes (volume 4 of this theology ?)

After Andrew Myers (VirginiaHuguenot) wrote about volume 4 of Turretin theological institutes at :http://www.puritanboard.com/forum/vi....php?tid=17977

I was curious about this, and send a mail to P&R for information. And this respons i got back :

Dear Ralph

Here is what our editor relates about vol. 4.

Our three-volume set of the Institutes is based on Giger's translation of the 1847 edition, which was a reprint of the 1688"“90 edition, which itself was a corrected and enlarged version of the original three-volume work. In 1734 a fourth volume was added, comprising Turretin's Disputationes. This volume was included in a four-volume Opera released in 1848. But the fourth volume was not actually part of
the Institutes.

We have not discussed a translation of the Disputationes, to my knowledge.

Good research, Ralph. Just to clarify, what I said earlier was that of the four volumes of Turretin's Works, the Institutes comprise three, and a fourth volume of the Works (not the Institutes) remains as-of-yet untranslated. This response helps to clarify what I had heard. Thanks.

Dear Andrew or someone else on the board,

Are the separeted books : Justification & The Atonement not included in his Institutes, and works from volume 4 (Disputationes) ?

From what I understand, the separate book on Justification is actually an excerpt from a section of the Institutes while the book on the Atonement is either just another work that Turretin worked on or a part of the fourth volume.
