| Dave Ramsey's "Total Money Makeover" I just finished reading the book and believe the principles I learned will make a good framework for financial planning but I came away with little to know knowledge of how to actually fill in the blanks.
Dave talked about mutual funds and Roth IRAs but didn't explain what they are (well, he did say that a Roth IRA is a retirement account), how they work, or how to get them. The same goes for Term Life Insurance. Understanding these things and actually doing something with the money I have saved up is the next step.
Does Dave go into more detail in the Financial Peace University? Where can I get my hands on a copy of that? If that's not the best thing for me to get next, can anyone offer a recommendation? Thanks for your help.

To round out the adage, Lutherans might qualify as Presbyterians who drink to excess, and Episcopalians as Lutherans who know when to say when. - D.G. Hart
