Someone recommended to me Justo Gonzalez's book, "The Story of Christianity" for learning about the history of the church. Has anyone read this book? Do you recommend it also? Thanks.

I think it is ok... but once you get into modern church history you can see his sympathies with marxist/liberation theology, especially in latin america.

What level of introduction are you wanting to obtain?
