Thread: Books on the heresy of Roman Catholic Church & doctrine

Because in the last post on the puritan board,we discuss several times about the Roman Catholic church.

Does any knows some good books about the Roman Catholic doctrine examed in the light of the scripture ?

But the books must have a clear and right understanding of the right doctrine of the R-C church !

With respect to the doctrine of scriptures, I highly recommend Keith Mathison's The Shape of Sola Scriptura. It is a useful antidote to RC views as well as fundamentalist views.

I have heard that Loraine Boettner's book is considered a standard criticism of RCC, but I have also heard that his book is a misrepresentation. I have also heard the same things about some of the material available at Alpha & Omega Ministries (James White's apologetic ministry).

So in other words, I don't know. But you can try those out.
