"All Roads Lead to Rome"

I have heard of this book, it was written by a former Presbyterian minister who became Roman Catholic. Does anyone know about this garbage? Thanks.

All roads lead to Rome?! I thought all roads lead to Geneva.

Perhaps the narrow path....the broad path, definitely leads to Rome.

I know the apostate Presby Scott Hahn wrote a book called Rome Sweet Home. I havent read the book and dont know much about the it (most likely tripe) but it seems Hahn is an emotionally disturbed, dishonest crook, who is also delusional (besides being an archheretic).

While I normally wouldn't recommend anything by John Robbins, I think in this case it is warranted. Scott Hahn is the type of Catholic apologist who will convince you if you are desperately wanting to become Catholic. John Gerstner has an excellent essay on Hahn's confusion, "Rome not Home" in Sola Scriptura.

A Catholic friend loaned me a copy of some article by Hahn about how Catholics need to get more familliar w/the Bible or they'll never be able to reach Protestants. In it he attempted to defend the RC's stance on Scripture & tradition being equally relevant. I don't remember it too well, but he didn't convince me, he kept contradicting himself. And I ain't no debater either!

I admire Robbins' stand for Sola Fide against Romanizing tendancies & factions w/in the church. Though I consider myself a Van Tillian. But I dont really understand the difference anyway.

He's a jerk. I listened to some of his tapes and he came off really arrogant. Misrepresenting Protestantism and scoffing at strawmen.
