Josh,
If you click on "Control Panel/Options" text in the upper right hand of your screen, it will take you to your personal Control Panel. From that page you can access your U2U buddy list and instant messenger. Or...for a shortcut, you will notice around each post there's a box labeled "U2U". Pick the person you're wanting to "IM" and click on one of their posts where it has the box labled "U2U".
