Your Theological World View

I don't know if anyone has done this somewhere else on the board but here is mine. I found it on Mr. Merlins MySpace. Where do they get this stuff?

What's your theological worldview?
You scored as a Reformed Evangelical
You are a Reformed Evangelical. You take the Bible very seriously because it is God's Word. You most likely hold to TULIP and are sceptical about the possibilities of universal atonement or resistible grace. The most important thing the Church can do is make sure people hear how they can go to heaven when they die.

Ivan - the Baptist intervention team will be arriving at your house soon. Please do not be frightened as we repel through the windows from our Blackhawks. I'll be the one dressed in ballistic black and armed with an injectable form of the 1689 LBC and all the published works of Spurgeon.

I was only joking, BUT if you are going to bring all the published works of Spurgeon then maybe I'm NOT joking! BTW, I like the gold-looking books of the Met Tab sermons.

That will do nicely and thank you very much!!

Spurgeon telling his mother that he is becoming a Baptist:

Quote:
Spurgeon’s mother once proclaimed, “Ah, Charles! I often prayed the Lord to make you a Christian, but I never asked that you become a Baptist.”

Spurgeon with a smile responded quickly, “Ah, mother! The Lord has answered your prayer with His usual bounty, and given you exceeding abundantly above what you asked or thought.”

Yes but in practice he was such the antithesis of what many of his peers and today's contemporaries would consider a good Baptist sadly.

Well, I'm a Spurgeon kind of Baptist, although I admit I'm consider...odd amongst my SBC brethren for the most part, but that's okay .

What would happen if we turned loose a thousand Spurgeons on the SBC!
