| | | Who designated me as the "Board Optimist?"
Who designated me as the "Board Optimist?"
Such a fitting title, huh?
Well, anyway don't mind me. I shall go back to doing something optimistic, such as offering an optimistic prognosis for a variety of things.
Stupid economy.
Stupid government.
Stupid liberals.
Stupid politicians.
Stupid taxes.

Beware of a religion without holdfasts. But if I get a grip upon a doctrine they call me a bigot. Let them do so. Bigotry is a hateful thing, and yet that which is now abused as bigotry is a great virtue, and greatly needed in these frivolous times. I have been inclined lately to start a new denomination, and call it "the Church of the Bigoted." Spurgeon

Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy"”meditate on these things. The things which you learned and received and heard and saw in me, these do, and the God of peace will be with you (Phil. 4:8-9)

Maybe, I need to redeem the time and quit grumbling and live up to my new-fangled designation then, huh?

| No, I am not postmillennial, but historical premillennial, and I believe in a really crazy apocalyptic end of the world is on the horizons-- SO CRAZY in fact that it makes Hal Lindsay's worse nightmare closer to a DisneyLand attraction. |
