A couple of things struck me, he went hoping this man could help, and yet he is a
research professor of philosophy at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.
I guess he should do more research looking for specifics before he goes the next time..seems he would have done that to begin with instead of just taking peoples word for it.

In fact, a thread was started on this very story some time back, but it appears it has been deleted, or gone into hiding, or something. I pointed out the very same thing you did, and how utterly ridiculous and wrong it was for this man to expose his wife and children to this man's wicked "ministry," in light of the fact that this man is a seminary prof.

This has already been discussed in another thread.
Perhaps someone could link to it.

That was a good article David. Thanks for the post. I want to hear intelligent men explain these types of events with a believing, low-prejudicial heart. The result continues to confirm this Bentley is evil. Fraud is not strong enough a word for what he is doing in the guise of a Christian healer, a gift that I increasing believe is rare and no longer for any one man.
