"....unique gatherings like Church in a pub."
"In my opinion, what we have here is not regeneration, but only regurgitation."
Maybe the parishoners of the Church in a pub had too much hooch during their meeting.
All kidding aside, interesting article.

I like the way that fellow writes. A bit cynical and I admire that.
I'll try Randy, I'm stuck on a phrase that has 'simple' and 'pimple' in it. |

| Cynic: c.1550s, from Gk. kynikos, lit. "dog-like," from kyon (gen. kynos) "dog."
"As a dog returneth to his vomit, so a fool returneth to his folly." - Proverbs 26:11
Yes, I see the connection too. |

How bout....
The simple Church
just wants to flirt
Just pop the pimple
It is just that simple
Get rid of all the pus
What is the fuss?

Whatever you might think of the Simple Church concept, this Lifeway article by Mrs. Shrout says nothing about preaching Christ crucified or feeding the Lord's sheep, but only promotes another book, program and process designed by men who are focused on Results & Relationships rather than repentance and faith in Jesus Christ.
| This guy has spot on discernment. I worked in the Christian Retail Industry for about 6 years and it would amaze you what sells as Christian literature.
