in a sea of plebeians, that have been mis educated by the public school system; who are struggling financially, emotionally; people who have been beaten down by criticisms, divorce, abuse, aimlessness etc Osteen offers free encouragement and psychological counselling under the banner of "Church and Christianity". It is a stroke of genius. What rich folks pay $100 per hour for, poor folks can tune in to television and send a $5. You get a million to send $5 every month, and you are grossing $60 mill a year.
Next year there is a great possibility that there will be a recession. Because of this the WOF preachers especially Osteen will see big time growth. The more hurting, disconnect, and savagery out there, the more Osteen will prosper. One time at my former church, members of the Evangelical team started a prayer station. You wouldn't believe how much people came for prayers for their problems, but most if not, all of them never came to church. People don't want God or seriousness, they want a band aid and a false hope to get through life. Osteen provides the band aid and the false hope and he makes mad money$$$$$$$$$$$$.

Adam's got it - you want to  the guy with the scenery flashing behind him (a little distracting, by the way),  and  over Osteen and the Secret, and maybe, just maybe, you would  about Stewart if he wasn't such a perfect example of 'men' today. :rant off:
