I just received an email that the
Issues, Etc. program is back in an internet radio incarnation. I never listened to it regularly but I was occasionally directed to one of their shows by other people when an interesting topic was covered. The program was formerly funded and produced under the auspices of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod before they were taken off the air.
It's getting harder to silence dissenting voices in the church. They were taken off the radio without any prior notice or warning but they have been able to relocate and set up their own studio. It looks like the broadcast 5 days a week and plan on doing it all for under
$275K a year and they'll likely have a larger audience given all the
controversy it caused.
