| | | I'll Never Catch Up
I just got back from a trip to Honduras. We drove down in order to deliver some vehicles to a mission orphanage. (Now that is a road trip!) I've just logged on to the PB and a deluge of threads threatened to capsize me when I hit 'New Posts' So, if you see an antiquated post pop up new with some arcane question or comment from me just grin and bear it!
BTW, a big THANK YOU to Fred Greco for helping us get some badly needed registration documents that we needed to get through Mexico. We'd have never found that Kinkos without his help.

The orphanage is a new work in Santa Rosa de Copan, Hogar de Victoria. There is an existing orphanage in the state, but it needs to be shut down. I can't go into it on the internet because of ongoing legal actions.
I did meet some folks from La Finca years ago when I was in Tegucigalpa. Good people.

At least not the type of mules we saw trying to get into the USA. From here on out I will be flying, in an airplane! I may take my family on the jaunt that we just took. It normally would take three or four days. In our case it took a week due to what we were driving, carrying and towing - and the nature of the border crossing officials. ( A gift in the bosom and all of that. . . )
It really is something to see the geography and culture change as you drive south. Quite a trip.
