I (finally!) got an Ipod!!! Help please...

OK, My DW bought me an Ipod for my b-day. God love her!

I loaded a about 50 songs on it so far. Mostly Frank Sinatra & Harry Connick, Jr. (OK a few by "the psychedelic furs"!)

My question is what on-line sources for reformed podcasts & not-to miss mp3's should I check out?

Good question, Kevin.

And for someone who is struggling to get into the 21st century, what advantages are there to using an Ipod?

For mp3's you'll definitely want to go to www.SermonAudio.com

I'd start with SermonAudio and the White Horse Inn (as has been suggested already). There are also the Wild Boar Podcasts at apuritansmind.com. That should get you started.

Why, convenience and portability, of coarse. I currently have 23 sermons and over 80 pieces of music on my Sansa Clip and it's not quite 1/2 way full.

Ivan,

Like Brother James said, convenience and sermons, sermons, sermons. Oh yeah, and more sermons. I read water meters part time and my iPod is a life saver!

"Long my imprisoned spirit lay,
Fast bound in sin and nature’s night;
Thine eye diffused a quickening ray—
I woke, the dungeon flamed with light;
My chains fell off, my heart was free,
I rose, went forth, and followed Thee."
