The Regulative Principle: Samuel Miller gives a succinct statement of this principle when he writes that since the Scriptures are the “only infallible rule of faith and practice, no rite or ceremony ought to have a place in the public worship of God, which is not warranted in Scripture, either by direct precept or example, or by good and sufficient inference.”

Nah, with all those energy drinks he knocks back, he's too wired to sleep; and he's way, way too old and geezerlike to be out shoveling snow...

Well, with the energy drinks he should be well abled to shovel the snow. However, the snow has decreased due to the rain. Perhaps he fell asleep while shoveling snow and is still outside. Hopefully, the energy drinks have kept him warm and all is well.

Thank you all so very much. I go to bed a 9 every night so I missed your kind words and wishes. It is certainly an honor to be part of the PB and to have such wonderful friends throughout Christ's body. You have been a great encouragement to me. Blessing to you all. I would give each one of you a big squeeze.
