The God who wasn't there

Just a heads up:

Quote:
Newsweek says The God Who Wasn't There "irreverently lays out the case that Jesus Christ never existed." But that's just the beginning for this unforgettable, taboo-shattering documentary.

By God's grace, people that are on the puritanboard and other christians within their churches are well taught. These people aren't appealing to taught Christians but fools who already hate God and say there is no God. The fool says in his heart there is no God.

And it isn't even Easter! They usually time these for Easter.

I'm sure this will be the usual rant from folks like Acharya S, Earl Doherty and Robert Price.

I love how Newsweek acts like this is some new concept...as if the denial of Jesus' existence has never been laid out before. Bruno Bauer denied his existence in A Critique of the Gospels in 1850. Bauer was one of Hegel's disciples and his denial of Jesus' existence was celebrated by Engels and Marx. Sorry Newsweek, you are at least 157 years late on this story.

The contortions that one must go through to make a case for Jesus never existing is objective evidence of the truth of Romans 1.
