    Glad to be Back at PB

    Greetings! I just spent the last 2.5 weeks working on the wildfires in northern California. After my family and church, I think I missed the PB the most! While I've only participated for a short time, this forum has become important to me, leading me to some great books, different perspectives, and an eye toward the bigger discussions within the reformed world. Thanks all. Glad to be back, though I'm likely to head west again soon.

    How absurd a tenet is this, which holdeth that there is some particular worship of God allowed, and not commanded? What new light is this which maketh all our divines to have been in the mist, who have acknowledged no worship of God, but that which God hath commanded? Who ever heard of commanded and allowed worship?

    Thank you! We had some copper sunlight during the worst of it as far north as Portland, OR. It reminded me to pray. Welcome back!

    Very cool;

    While you were gone we solved the theonomy issue and the baptism issue - and you missed it all!

    Just kidding, of course....

    I was at Hayfork working on the Lime Complex. I'm not surprised the smoke went as far as Portland ...

    Well, I grew up in Redding, so I know right where Hayfork is. All that smoke is getting blown into Redding and my parents are having a hard time with it. Glad you are back home, though.
