Oh, wait. You asked if anyone read it.
Yes.

Thanks for pointing that out Gerry. At least a few people must, unless he has an incredibly large number of regular 'characters' as well as a lot of 'disposable' people because he gets a massive number of comments.
Let me clarify:
Does anyone who also has posting privileges on the PuritanBoard and happens to have seen this thread read the Dilbert blog.

I hope, Ruben, that you didn't take me too seriously. I was trying to pull a Paul Manata and give a real short answer to the exact question that you asked. I thought my answer was amusing, but who am I?
And FWIW, I have read much of Dilbert in the past, but my interest level in his philosophy is way down at the moment, so I am going to refrain from checking out the blog.
And, with that, I will trip gracefully out of the picture.

Actually I thought it was funny. That's why I exaggerated my clarification so much.

I read it when he first started out, but not very much after that.
I thought it was funny, usually.
My secret thought on his blog is this: He is getting a bunch of people to basically write his next book fo him. He contributes about 10th the material, and the rest is blog commentary. Brilliant. He'll be laughing all the way to the bank. It really is quintessential Dilbert.

| Shouldn't it be "Is really is quintessential Dogbert?"

John,
I was refering to the strip itself, but since it is all about getting paid for other people doing your work Dilbert, Alice, and Asok wouldn't fit the bill, and Dogbert, Pointy Hair, and Wally (especially him, and I almost edited the original post to say "quintessential Wally") would be characterizational.

Bruce, I think you're right. He makes a lot of statements about religion, and the believers who post in reply are mostly superstitious/experiential types. One of the latest posts was a confession: "The natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him."
