Thumbs up Welcome to Mr. Steve Burlew

I would like to extend a hearty welcome to Mr. Steve Burlew!

Steve is the North American division of Banner of Truth publishers and actually visited my blog once and graciously left a comment. So I've known him for a bit via some email transactions and by visiting his blog--> Trophies of His Grace

WELCOME STEVE!

Welcome, Steve. Banner of Truth is one of my favorite publishers. I have many sets published by BoT.

Welcome to the Board Steve, glad you could be here and I look forward to your contributions. Any acquaintance of Josh is always welcome here... (you'll just be under a small cloud of suspicion but it will quickly pass.) Just kidding, welcome aboard friend.

The Regulative Principle: Samuel Miller gives a succinct statement of this principle when he writes that since the Scriptures are the “only infallible rule of faith and practice, no rite or ceremony ought to have a place in the public worship of God, which is not warranted in Scripture, either by direct precept or example, or by good and sufficient inference.”

Steve good to see you have joined the board. You have linked a number of my book reviews in the past , I especially liked the fact you posted the one of the late Prof. Fred Leahy's The Hand of God.

Looks like you're out of room there, Vaughan. Want I should take some of those books off your hands?

I need to buy a house in order to hold all my books; mind you, due to the price of houses in Northern Ireland, I will not be able to afford any more books.

HA! I feel very loved! Thanks to all!
Bob - Please don't hold my relationship with Josh against me for TOO long!
Vaughan - I absolutely LOVE the picture! It is always enjoyed by everyone in the Banner office when we get to see the other end of our shipping process. Thanks for sharing that!
I've gotten emails from a number of you guys with requests for the Iain Murray chapter from his biography of Pink. I think I've sent them all out but if I did miss your request, email me again. And seriously, if we at Banner can ever do anything to help or encourage you, please let me know.
It's good to be here!

Don't give it a second thought Steve. Just go wash in the Letort Spring Run and then send me a Creme Brulee from the Salamandra and I'll see that you are totally absolved. Blessings.

I can make both of your lives here at the PB very miserable, ya know. In fact, from what I'm reading, it seems I already have.

Come now little brother. You know how much I love you. Just because I'd sell you out for a creme brulee, now you're going to act like your feelings are hurt. A CREME BRULEE, MAN!
