Adam, you're a genius. Why didn't I think of this? I just took up all of today's posts by welcoming. Hmm...nonetheless, welcome again!

On that note...welcome, indeed!

Only about 6,000 more. So long as you stop posting for a year or so, even though my yearly average is 2,500.

Yeah, yesterday was a banner day. I looked over and saw there were 4 new applicants waiting to be moderated. I usually hold my breath because probably 33%-50% of applicants are rejected and then I get the occassional blowback that I'm going to be confined to outer darkness and that this is a mean place.
But all four passed. It's not like it's that strenuous if you have a reformed confession but I was just really happy to see all four were good to go.
A few months back I put a new feature on the board called vBSEO that basically re-wrote all the URL's and made the site more search engine friendly. I always thought it was strange how we outstrip any site for sheer content (not always solid but at least voluminous) but I can't even find the PuritanBoard under a search result for "reformed" even though obscure sites appear. I think the re-indexing of the site will help.
I don't know if we're reaching a "tipping point" of sorts with all the new applicants but it's nice to see. We could be really huge if we were like Mitt Romney and appreciated the beautiful mass of the Roman Catholic, the enthusiasm of the Pentecostal, or the regular prayer of the Muslim but I'm satisfied with the crowd we have here.
Welcome to our motley crew!
