| | | the Tao of Calvinism
hello PB'ers
I'm a 51 year old male with a wonderful wife of 30 years. I grew up in a Presbyterian family. Both my grand parents were Presbyterians including my greats. I've always thought most churches were alike until I read books. In my early teens, I was into "new age bad for you" books and "end time" books. I ran out of books that didn't sound alike. There were so many end time books that sounded common until I found reformed books on revelation. That changed my views and became more careful. I had a seventh-day adventist bossman that loved to teach me his ways and it all sounded good until his theories fell apart. I got suspicious and thought to return to the documents that my great+grand+parents studied and they all seem to make more since on everything I learned. Thats how I came to Calvinism. Now, I can't draw that fine line between Arminianism and Calvinism. The more I learn , the line moves again and might have been hyper-Calivinst, at times. Just want to do the right thing. So I hope to make many friends and hope to develop my faiths.
