| | | A new Kiwi member Hi folks
I thought I would introduce myself. I am from New Zealand (it is a seperate country from Australia in case you were wondering!
I am a Reformed (Covenantal) Baptist. I enjoy theological reading including Covenant theology, Systematic theology, Church history, Phillosophical theology and devotional works. The greatest influences on me were CH Spurgeon, Witsius, and Dr Lloyd-Jones.
I am a qualified Chartered Accountant and IT professional. Also enjoy cycling, swimming and Toastmasters.
Look forward to interacting with you.
In Christ
Stephen

| | | Just in case you are interested, the man in the tie on my Avatar is Dr Jim Renihan from the Institute of Reformed Baptist Studies at Westminster Seminary (Cal). I am on the left - he comes to New Zealand once a year for a week of intensive theological training. Top stuff! |

A new Kiwi Member...
Is that Kiwi as in:
(A) the fruit,
(B) the bird, or
(C) the shoe polish?
Speaking of Kiwi...
A kiwi egg is ten times the size of an average chicken egg, just in case anyone was wondering.

| | Hi Sterling
I have not heard of kiwi polish. Kiwifruit comes from NZ. Yes, the kiwi bird is our national icon. It is a flightless bird with a long beak. It is a Reformed Baptist bird - it likes plenty of water, it likes covenanting together with other elect kiwis, and sanctifies itself (keeps itself apart) from the reprobate birds who only sprinkle themselves.
James, I am not sure if anyone has eaten the kiwi. It is a protected bird. |
