I really like their pastor (I've read his books too).
They had a young people's conference. It was mainly for highschoolers and college aged people. So we got together a group from our church, and I was one of the drivers / chaperones. Pastor William Hughes from Florida was the guest speaker. We just went for the Sunday.. I don't really know to many people from there or meet too many new people. I mainly talked with the elders there (great brothers in Christ) and also there is a family there who actually used to attend my church here Canada when they lived here.

I adore Bill Hughes. I had heard him preach in Sacramento at a singles conference. It was from Ruth and I was so inspired that I bought cassette tapes for everyone at church ... that oughta tell you how long ago that was ... ha ha ha ... Bill Hughes, once said to me, "Lo, Miss, what a you doin' out here? Don't da men know dat you are here? No. If so, they'd be out here at yer feet. I'll go in dar an let dem know." very sweet man.
