Hi! I've been reading for a while and have learned alot. I've been a Christian for a long time, and have been part of non-denominational, Lutheran, Nazarene and pentecostal denominations, but though there were parts of each that I enjoyed and parts that I agreed with, I still found so much that didn't make sense to me scripturally. I never thought I'd become a Presbyterian, since I only knew of the liberal mainline church. I have read Presbyterians from the past and it always resonated with me but I thought the all presbyterians had become liberal. I started hearing my pastor on the radio and when it ended with the name of the church, I'd think, "He's a presbyterian?" Then I met a Christian lady and shared the frustration I was having at church (due to encroaching Word/Faith teaching), and found she had experienced the same frustration until she and her husband discovered their Presbyterian church. She explained that it was PCA not USA and then I discovered it was the pastor of her church that I had been hearing on the radio. I've been attending since January and am so grateful for the meat of the worship services and Sunday School classes. Our pastor is preaching through the book of Ezekial. It's amazing! I've been reading about the reformation, wow! God is so good, I'm so grateful that He brought me to my new church and to the PB. I am married, have 6 children and 13 grandchildren. We are all being reformed.
