Hello from Moses

Hello

Many of you know me from the Center for Reformed Theology and Apologetics forums. I was routed to this board from an internet search and I started reading some of the posts. The site seems thuroughly reformed and calvinistic, thus I look forward to interacting here...and...being it appears that many here are pastors, elders, and seminary graduates, I look forward to learning as much as I can.

Blessings

The Regulative Principle: Samuel Miller gives a succinct statement of this principle when he writes that since the Scriptures are the “only infallible rule of faith and practice, no rite or ceremony ought to have a place in the public worship of God, which is not warranted in Scripture, either by direct precept or example, or by good and sufficient inference.”

Hi, Shawn. I used to hang out over there with you, but haven't for quite awhile.... too many full prets.

Good to have you here. I'm jus' a layman, so don't expect any astute exegesis from me, but this is a good place to get sound explanations from the resident theologians. You'll definitely enjoy Puritanboard. Welcome!

I enjoy debating with full prets (though the eschatology section over there has not been very active)...though, in so doing, many confuse a lot of what I say as being full pret.

Never got that impression, bro, just got worn out dealing with it myself. One thing that is enjoyable about PB is that while there are differences, all here affirm at least one of the reformed confessions, so it is mostly intramural debate. I have little patience for heretics. I have enough trouble avoiding being one myself.
