Hello Fellow Puritan Lovers,
The reason I've joined up with the Puritan Board is because I recently started a book club reading Reformed works. I was inspired by Challies' blog but felt he was moving too slow and I could not find a suitable alternative.
So I began my own, via a blog, with the goal of reading roughly 10 pages a day and posting brief notes and thoughts. At first I didn't tell anyone because I thought I might not have the stamina, but I've kept it up for over a month now and feel that it is definitely something I can continue. The plan is to work through the majority of Banner of Truth's Puritan Paperbacks before moving onto other titles.
But while the club is still in its early days, I thought I should ask for feedback about whether I should persevere. I can think of two reasons for stopping:
1) There is a general consensus that nobody would find it helpful;
2) There are already many alternatives to it (although I was unable to find something with a google search).
I do value the opinion of the members on this board and so if you would like to stop by my Reformed Book Club and provide feedback (either here or there), I would really appreciate it.
Also, if anyone thinks they know of somewhere else I should ask for feedback (e.g. another forum or website), please let me know.
Thanks,
Joel Radford.
