| | | Greetings from Scotland
Hi all.
I just joined this site, looking forward to learning more solid Reformed theology.
I've only recently started to thoroughly examine doctrines and theology. I found a great website called the Puritan Library where there's a ton of Reformed theology you can read online for free. From what I've read so far, my favourite theologian is John Owen, some of his work is incredible (eg the Death of Death in the Death of Christ, great stuff!).
Next up I'm planning to plough through Calvin's Institutes of the Christian Religion, and I'll take things from there. I might then have a look at some of Baxters stuff to get a good idea of the Amyraldianist postition.
In any case, hopefully I can learn some stuff while I'm here as well, it looks like a great board and I can't believe I didn't come across it before!

Welcome brother. Have you come across John Murray yet? He is my favorite Scot theologian.

Wow the replies come in quickly here... thanks for the warm welcome.
I go to church in what would probably be considered Alexandria, about half and hour drive westward of Glasgow.
I haven't come across John Murray yet, though I hope to get onto his works soon... I'm fairly new to this and there is so much to learn... |

Welcome to the PB from a fellow Scot. I used to live in Glasgow and pass by Alexandria fairly frequently on my visits home to the West Highlands. Loch Lomond is a nice place, particularly the east side.

Well, at least after all these years of the PB, the first guy to go by the moniker 'John Knox' is, in fact, from Scotland. This is a good thing.
