| | | Greetings and salutations
I joined the PB a couple years ago but haven't been active very much. I don't think I introduced myself when I first joined. I have been lurking and enjoying reading many good posts recently. I've usually steered away from internet forums in the past. I have seen the anonymity of the internet and inherently limited nature of communicating only in typed words lead to useless and non-edifying exchanges in other forums/mailing lists. I really appreciate the confessional requirements, moderation of the Puritan board, and commitment to Christ-centered conversation which allows fellowship to thrive and disagreements to lead to greater edification rather than bitterness. All this to say that I am glad to be here and I appreciate the fellowship.

It always begins by skulking, and assuming a disguise. Its advocates, when together, boast of great improvements, and congratulate one another on having gone greatly beyond the ‘old dead orthodoxy,’ and on having left behind many of its antiquated errors: but when taxed with deviations from the received faith, they complain of the unreasonableness of their accusers, as they ‘differ from it only in words.’ This has been the standing course of errorists ever since the apostolic age.
