Greetings from the Eastern Shore of Maryland

Like most new members I have been reading these forums for a good while now and just want to thank all those that have posted here.

I am the husband of my wife Marsha and father to our four children, Jacob, Kayla, Jana, and Caleb. Currently I am studying at SEBTS from a distance/hybrid standpoint waiting for the house to sell before moving on campus, if it is God's will.

I was brought to a saving faith of Jesus Christ about 6 years ago. I went the route of Arminian, but came under conviction of the cheapness of man centered ministries and by God's grace began to understand what Sovereignty of God was all about.

I am fairly new (a little less than a year) to understanding Reformed Theology and much thanks to you all for helping in filling in some of the blanks and remove a few years of eisegesis.

Thanks !!

Welcome! I used to hail from Federalsburg, and had a hand in starting the PCA church in Salisbury. It is a wonderful place; it would be better if it were allowed to be a separate state of DelMarVa (southern DE, eastern shore MD, and eastern shore VA).

Thanks all for being so welcoming and the friend requests.

Herald, if you know where Marydel is then obviously you know its a very small town. Fairly quaint!!

Brian, I am very familiar with Federalsburg, southern part of the same county. I think it would be nice to have our own state considering for the most part we get little representation when it comes to voting and such, but unfortunately tourism would be our biggest draw and sadly not enough to keep a state going.

Thanks again all!!!
