| | | Greetings, brothers and sisters in Christ!
Any young believers here? I'm from Singapore and is now 20, going to enter college this fall. An introduction...
I was saved when I was at an age of 17 (after one false profession of faith). I attended a Methodist church for awhile before getting involved with Fundamentalism (the IFB baptists). I stayed with them for a few years and even became a member.
I was introduced to Reformed theology through helpful ministries like Desiring God and Spurgeon Archive. In addition, I was also turned off by the legalism and separatism in my former church. They also endorse Landmarkism (local church only, no universal church doctrine). However, I bear no reservations towards them because they have taught me the importance of taking God seriously in my life.
I am currently attending a Reformed Baptist church and also occasionally show up at a Presbyterian young adults' fellowship group. I aspire to be self-employed, and seek to demonstrate the salt of Christ through my life, wherever God calls me to be.
So... lurked around for awhile and decided to show up here. Hope this place can be a good place to fellowship!

Do you know of the Reformation Translation Fellowship? They have translated some of Calvin's works and other Reformed literature. I think they are based there in Singapore.

Welcome! One of my pastors, Jim Savastio, recently went to Singapore to preach for a youth camp for The Fishermen of Christ Fellowship. Have you heard of them? Pastor Bill Hughes of Emmanuel Baptist Coconut Creek FL often goes there too, and, while FCF is not Reformed yet, the Lord seems to be doing a work there!
