Howdy, Jenn! You should feel right at home on the Puritan Board, seeing as you're the 9,748,238th Texan to join up.

Maybe some of these Texans could move to, you know...Delaware or someplace...

    Kidding!

Welcome, and don't be afraid to join the fray around here. Be careful to step over the cigar butts, though.

Okay, I've been sitting here for five minutes trying to make up a corny-yet-funny welcome post for you, but I can't think of anything great right now, so I'll settle for:

Whoohoo!! My sister's on the board!

Welcome, Jenn. I hope you're blessed greatly with the good convos that go on here.

    Greetings all,
I thought I would merely add to this thread to introduce myself, since I too am a Texan and new to the Forum.

I came across the Puritan Board from McMahon's A Puritans's Mind website. I am a Calvinistic credo-Baptist and worship with the saints at Community Bible Chapel in Richardson, TX. I generally hold to the Canons of Dort and the 1689 LBCF as valid expressions of biblical truth.

Gomarus is the screen name I first adopted as an administrator at Theopedia.com and now in my blog, so I figured I would keep it when I registered here. Now I need to go find an appropriate avatar of Gomarus.

I look forward to interaction on the Forum although the frequency of my activity will be somewhat limited due to time constraints.

    Grace and peace.

I look forward to interaction on the Forum although the frequency of my activity will be somewhat limited due to time constraints.

    Yep

Texan here too; however, I'm from the opposite end of the state as Jenn. I live about 10 miles north of the Texas-Mexico border.
