    Good day from England

Hi, I'm Phil. I really have no idea what to say here. I've never been on a puritan forum before and I'm relatively new to the reformed faith. I'm here so that I can learn without constant hatred being breathed at me by Arminians. I was formerly on a "christian" forum, but found that it was devoid of christians.

This place seems to be full of really intelligent people. So far I've had to look up almost one word per thread. I was reading a thread in the creation forum and someone said "phenomenological". After seeing that, I think I developed Hippopotomonstrosesquippedaliophobia.

    It's good to be here!

You will say to me then, “Why does He still find fault? For who has resisted His will?” But indeed, O man, who are you to reply against God? Will the thing formed say to him who formed it, “Why have you made me like this?”

Hi, Phil! Glad you're here! I also "did some time" on a "Christian" board, only to find out that they only had contempt for the Gospel.

Here, they "card" people, so that doesn't happen!

This is a good place to learn theology and grow in grace toward one another.

Some topics come up regularly on Puritan Board so you can try the "search" function to find something you are looking for (e.g. "Confession of Faith") that isn't a current thread.

May Gob Bless you as you work in England. What a joy to know that our Lord has kept a remnant of His own in that important country.

If you think I'm a Hyper-Calvinist, God planned that thought before the foundation of the Earth. If you try to tell me that God only planned some things and not all things, then your problem is with God not me.

    Not many presbyterians here, fortunately.

Wow, you've done your research! I've heard some of them preach, but never been to their church. I have no easy way of getting there.

You will say to me then, “Why does He still find fault? For who has resisted His will?” But indeed, O man, who are you to reply against God? Will the thing formed say to him who formed it, “Why have you made me like this?”
