Its advocates, when together, boast of great improvements, and congratulate one another on having gone greatly beyond the ‘old dead orthodoxy,’ and on having left behind many of its antiquated errors: but when taxed with deviations from the received faith, they complain of the unreasonableness of their accusers, as they ‘differ from it only in words.’ This has been the standing course of errorists ever since the apostolic age. | | | Thanks for all the welcomes, and personals from people who live/have lived nearby. I've had surgery at Memorial, and I know the pastor at 1st Pres in Ft. Oglethorpe pretty well. He's been there just a few years (3?) - James Landrum. A fine fellow! There must be some other TN Valley Presbytery guys around this board, too. |

My other hobby is firearms, and I maintain a website about guns: http://www.mouseguns.com

Music, guns and theology, what a combination! | Could you say that was lethal? Thanks for the picture.
I am a musician as well. I am pianist and teach piano, but cello is my favorite instrument. I started playing cello about nine years ago, and studied it seriously for about 7 of those years. (I've discovered it's a lot more difficult to study an instrument as an adult.) I doubt I'll ever make it to the symphony level, but I do play my cello to accompany the singing in church now and again. |
