Interesting connections

Okay, so lots of you study the Bible and have come across fascinating discoveries. What are some of the neatest connections you have made studying Scripture with Scripture? Like, one of my pastor's linked Christ to the burning bush scene in Exodus. Are there other places that you have seen Christ in maybe an 'obscure' passage?

Well, I'm a simpleton, so my example's not 'obscure' at all. But after reading of mankind's plunge into sin in the early part of Genesis 3, I rejoice coming upon verse 15 where the gospel is proclaimed for the first time.
Quote:
3:15 I will put enmity between you and the woman,
and between your offspring and her offspring;
he shall bruise your head,
and you shall bruise his heel.”
And I like the foreshadowing of being robed in Christ's righteousness because of His shed blood to which is alluded in verse 21:
Quote:
3:21 And the Lord God made for Adam and for his wife garments of skins and clothed them.
Praise God for His grace which has shown forth from the very beginning!

not really obscure, but I remember my astonishment with Christ's "Eloi, Eloi!" proclamation on the cross and Psalm 22...

Probably no connection at all, but everytime I read it it jumps out at me:

1Ki 10:14: Now the weight of gold that came to Solomon in one year was six hundred threescore and six talents of gold,

Rev 13:18: Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.
