I am glad and sad at the same time to hear this response.
Glad because Pastor Piper is dismantling this bogus document. But also sad that this response is even necessary.
Have the churches declined so much from basic doctrinal teaching that they almost want to apologize for the exclusiveness of salvation in Christ alone.
I cannot imagine Elijah signing with the prophets of Baal, or David laying down his slingshot so Goliath could sign such a document!
