    John 10:29

In the ESV study bible it says:
"My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all, and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father`s hand."

In the danish bible it says: (being directly translated)
"That which, my father has given me, is greater than all, and no one is able to snatch it out of my father`s hand."

See another great example of how "great" our bible is in this country.

This is what the NASB renders:

"My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father's hand."

The "it" is no big deal... what's troubling about the danish translation is that it is not the Father but the "it" that is spoken of as being greater than all. Looking at the Greek, I dont' see how "is greater than all" could possibly have anything but "The Father" as its subject. The "it" that is said in Martin's rendering of the Danish to be given to Christ by the father is not present in the Greek text, actually - so it must be inferred. It seems the only reasonable referent is the "them" that is evident in 10:28.
