| | | Jesus' suffering and Hell
Does Jesus' suffering, particularly his suffering work after the Last Supper until his death upon the cross tell us anything, or give us any insight, into what the suffering of, and God's wrath in, Hell is like?

Perhaps the closest we can come to understanding hell is to meditate on Jesus' haunting words while upon the cross, "My Father, My Father, why have You forsaken Me?!" We often fail to contemplate the horror of having the sin of man put upon the shoulders of the Son of God, resulting in Him taking the Father's wrath that billions deserved, and many will endure throughout eternity. Any other comparison would be to candycoat hell, even the torture leading up to the crucifixion.
