Very helpful, substantive topics that help transition this evening into a "sabbath state of mind."

He made a case for non inspired hymns with musical instruments being acceptable in worship based on hymns being a teaching tool rather than revelation.

We were blessed to visit our old congregation this morning, Fairmount ARP, and heard a rousing sermon on John 6:51-59.

Thanks! I record direct to digital, and I can edit and upload the sermon to the website right from my recording room (which is why it's up there less than an hour after the service). I love my job, especially the "behind the scenes" aspect of it.

This past Lord's Day, the Pastor made a excursus from the immediate subject matter of Matthew 5:27-32 and dug a little deeper to the subject of sin generally. It was very good, and I encourage you to listen to it as you have opportunity.

It is God that multiplies our sorrows....
God, as a righteous Judge, does it, which ought to silence us under all our sorrows; as many as they are, we have deserved them all, and more: nay, God, as a tender Father, does it for our necessary correction, that we may be humbled for sin, and weaned from the world by all our sorrows; and the good we get by them, with the comfort we have under them, will abundantly balance our sorrows, how greatly soever they are multiplied. - Matthew Henry
