Preached today by our Home Missions pastor Rev Gary Davenport
Sermon Title: Of Course Believers Will Be Resurrected!
Sermon Text: I Corinthians 15:12-49
Proposition Statement: The Lord's apostle asserts compelling reasons for hope in the resurrection of believers.
The Resurrection of believers is...
1....for now a hope seen by faith alone
2....absolutely necessary because Jesus Christ Himself is already resurrected.
3....God's eternal power creating your new body fitted for your eternal habitat.
4....part of God's plan even from the beginning of creation.
***We also Observed the Lord's Supper today and enjoyed a Fellowship Meal afterward***

I preached on John 6:37-40 and pointed to the two grand assurances from Christ in this passage: 1) the assurance and certainty of salvation for those in Christ and 2) the assurance of the resurrection on the last day

Our Sermon was from Rom 5-6
Rom 6:11-14
11 Likewise you also, reckon yourselves to be dead indeed to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus our Lord.
12 Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body, that you should obey it in its lusts. 13 And do not present your members as instruments of unrighteousness to sin, but present yourselves to God as being alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness to God. 14 For sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under law but under grace.
NKJV
