| | | Jeremiah 31 - Articles?
I would appreciate it if some of you could recommend some in-depth articles that expound on Jeremiah 31 and the nature of the New Covenant from the paedobaptist perspective.
I have been wrestling with this passage and need an in-depth analysis of the text. I am wrestling with the usual credobaptist arguments that "all of the New Covenant members will know the Lord" and "all of the New Covenant members will have theirs sins forgiven", etc.; therefore, infants cannot be members of the New Covenant.
Grace to you.

Taylor, I would probably recommend the book edited by Greg Strawbridge, entitled The Case for Covenantal Infant Baptism. While one must be discerning reading the book (it is an eclectic mix, with some FV guys in it), there's still some good stuff, especially with Jeremiah 31 (I believe the essay on that is entitled, "What's So New about the New Covenant?"). I think Jeffrey O'Neill does that essay (I don't have the book in front of me right now), but I would recommend it.
